Verification Failed

Ever since updating my iOS, I keep getting this error message when I enter my iCloud password.  It repeatedly prompts me to log into iCloud to do anything, but when I try, I get Verification Failed-- An unknown error occurred.  I have turned my iPad off and on with no effect.

Same issue, iPhone 6s 64GB model. iOS 10.0.2.

Mine is saying the samething

same but it happened only to my iphone 6, none of my other devices. i upgraded to an iphone 7 today but the pop ups are more persistent now. i cant even sign out. what did you do?
