MIDI Channel Strips to External Harware

I am new to Mainstage 3 and I was wondering if I can assign the volume sliders on the keyboard to the channel strips in Mainstage 3. Is it possible to do that? It would be nice because I have a Yamaha MO8 and there are some volume sliders there to adjust the different effects that are being played. I am running on Mainstage 3.3.2 and it would be amazing to assign channel strips in order to adjust the effects during different songs and make transitions a lot easier and smoother.
