What's the best way in Logic Pro X to edit a li...

Hello,

I recorded a friend playing a drums (an actual live drum kit with microphones) to some rhythmic ambient music I made.  The intention wasn't to get a finished take straight through the whole piece, I just wanted him to play along and try out different ideas.  I'd like to cut out a few the best bars to use as samples.  What's the best way to do this?  In the Audio File Editor I can select a section I like, I can turn on the loop to make sure it loops right, but then what? I'd like to be able to export that segment as an new audio file that I could load into a sampler.
