注意：iPhone X讀作ten不讀X！除此，還有哪些英文單詞你一定要知道？
今天淩晨，萬眾矚目的蘋果新品發布會在蘋果新總部舉行。蘋果推出了 iPhone 8、iPhone 8 Plus 、iPhone X和新一代Apple Watch等產品。
正值iPhone誕生十周年，這次發布會最吸引眼球的就是iPhone X（注意，X是羅馬數字10，讀作ten，數字10的英文發音，不讀x哦）。
除此，還有哪些英文單詞需要你知道？

全麵屏 all screen
外觀上來看，iPhone X最顯著的特點就是看似“無邊無際”的全屏幕，英文稱作all screen或edge-to-edge screen。
刷臉解鎖 Face ID
iPhone X另一項革新在於引入“麵容ID”（Face ID），實現“刷臉”解鎖。
鏡頭 camera
iPhone X的前後攝像頭，都有肖像模式（portrait mode）。
無線充電Wireless charging
蘋果官網上的產品描述值得一看，其文案向來氣質獨特，英語用詞簡潔優美，翻譯得也好。
（二）產品的英文翻譯
With iPhone X, the device is the display. An all‑new 5.8‑inch Super Retina screen fills the hand and dazzles the eyes.
整部 iPhone X，看起來就是一塊幾乎整麵的屏幕。全新的5.8英寸超視網膜顯示屏用起來倍感稱手，看起來絢麗奪目。
The display employs new techniques and technology to precisely follow the curves of the design, all the way to the elegantly rounded corners.
顯示屏采用新的工藝和技術，精準貼合機身的曲線，一直延伸至優雅圓潤的邊角。
新屏幕采用OLED顯示屏：
This OLED display, which Apple is calling the Super Retina ['retɪnə] Display can produce darker blacks, brighter whites, and more vibrant colors.
OLED顯示屏，蘋果稱其為“超視網膜顯示屏”，可以顯示更加純正的黑色、更加雪亮的白色和更加生動的色彩。
為了讓屏幕看起來更完整，蘋果標誌性的Home鍵被取消了。
蘋果解釋稱：
To create a continuous surface, with nothing to get in the way of your experience, we replaced the Home button with new yet familiar ways to navigate.
為了打造連續一體的表麵，讓你在使用時不被其他部件幹擾，我們取消了主屏幕按鈕，取而代之的是新穎卻並不陌生的操控方式。
所以要怎樣操作呢？
The lack of a home button is dealt with by requiring users to swipe up to access its apps, and to press a side button to summon its virtual assistant Siri.
沒有home鍵，用戶需要往上掃一下才能進入apps界麵，喚醒Siri則需要按住手機側麵的按鈕。
取消了home鍵，但是屏幕上方卻多出來一排“劉海”……
據蘋果介紹，這條“劉海”在極小的空間裏包含了大量黑科技。
比如距離感應器（promixity sensor）、前置攝像頭（front camera）、紅外鏡頭（infrared camera）、點陣投影器（dot projector）等。
iPhone X另一項革新在於引入“麵容ID”（Face ID），實現“刷臉”解鎖。
蘋果官方對於“刷臉”解鎖是這麼描述的，也充滿文藝氣息：
Your face is your secure password.
你的臉就是一張安全的通行證。
Once it knows you, it knows you.
一旦認識你，就總能認出你。
So smart it only works when you want it to.

The new phone has a "true depth camera system" in the front of the device to, first, validate that it is actually you who is using the phone and, second, unlock your phone.
iPhone X前部裝有原深感攝像頭係統，功能有二：其一，確定正在使用手機的是你本人；其二，給手機解鎖。
“刷臉”功能也遭到了中外網友的一致吐槽……
不過，據介紹，這項功能還是很強大、安全的。
For additional security, Face ID is attention aware, meaning it unlocks your iPhone X only when you look toward the device with your eyes open.
出於安全方麵的考慮，麵容識別是注視感知的，也就是說，隻有當你睜眼看向 iPhone X 時，它才會解鎖。

對於表情包愛好者來說，還有一個功能值得期待，那就是“動話表情”Animoji（animated emojis）。
This same tech is also used to customize a new form of emoji, called Animoji, which projects your facial expressions and voice onto emojis.
該項技術還被用來定製一種新型表情包，即“動話表情”，它可以把你的麵部表情和聲音生成到emoji表情裏去。
The TrueDepth camera analyzes more than 50 different muscle movements to mirror your expressions in 12 Animoji.
