Where is the connectivity complication

Watch OS 4 documentation refers to a Connectivity complication being available for most watch faces.  This is supposed to display wifi or cellular signal quality for watches that have cellular.  I'm not seeing this complication in the list as I try to customize.  The only thing close is in the new Explorer watch face and the signal it displays is not really a complication as it cannot be changed.

Anyone know what happened to this or how to find it?  was it available in beta?

I rec'd this answer from Apple Support:

Hello Joseph!

We chatted a week ago regarding the missing Connectivity complication on your Apple Watch. I had reached out to Engineering about it and the response did take a bit longer than expected. I’m sorry for the additional wait but I definitely did not forget about you.

They have advised that we have received reports of the complication being missing and are currently investigating. (I don’t think it made it in to watchOS 4 as planned.) We do however recommend keeping software up to date as the results of this investigation may come in form of additional communication, a software update, or a combination of these.

In the meantime, you could take a look at the new Explorer Watch face or continue to use Control Center, though we are of course working on getting this resolved. I expect to receive an update from Engineering once they have concluded their investigation since I had submitted a ticket on it, and will follow up with you again when they do.

Thank you so much for reaching out about it, and I hope you have a good week!

Kind regards,

Melanie V.
