Apple Music.... track is glitched out and is pr...

I started to download a track from the new Kesha album because I was about to travel to Bulgaria in a couple of days. One of the tracks has claimed it has downloaded onto the iPhone, however it wasn't appearing with the rest of the tracks. (See Picture)IMG_5554.PNG

When you begin to click on the said track, it doesn't appear or have a playable song for me to listen to. (See Picture)

It still has a download button and everything that you would use to download a normal track, I keep downloading the track and deleting it in order to try and make a significant difference, but nothing works. I see it as a glitch however I'm not sure if this is the case considering the fact that I haven't found any articles stating the glitch and how to fix it. This is extremely annoying and I need some helpful guidance. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so is there a solution on how to fix it?

My IOS device is an iPhone 6 and is currently on IOS 10.3.3. If that makes a significant difference.

Looks like just "one of those things", where some weird bug happened with your music library and the app got confused somehow.

Try rudimentary troubleshooting:

  • Settings -> Music -> Downloaded Music and delete all songs. Then try redownloading.
  • Settings -> iTunes & App Store and sign out of your Apple ID, then sign back in.

Hi ffiti,

Thank you for replying. I would try those solutions however the track doesn't even show up in my storage when I try and delete the track, thus meaning that deleting all my music most likely wouldn't erase the track from my library (See Picture)

On further inspection I found that another track has done the exact same thing as the track I was talking about in my first post. It doesn't appear in my storage, nor will it disappear from my library. The only way to get rid of this glitch is to restore the phone to factory settings on my laptop, however I have years of photos, contacts and other valuable information that I cannot stand to loose. I very much appreciate your help however, so thank you for trying to solve my problem.

I actually had this same problem so I'm going to try to articulate how I fixed it. I deleted to whole album from my library, it won't make that one weird track disappear, but if you then go to the full album (say, search it up and open it.) and the one weird should still register as added. If you delete the song from there you should be able to re add it and it will work.
