Apple Watch 4.0 Update

Ever since I updated my Apple watch to Version 4.0 I am having a problem with the touch screen on my watch.

I have to touch things several times before they react and sometimes they will not react at all. Using the timer for example it took me four tries going in and out of the program to set the timer for 30 minutes. Also for some reason or other it automatically takes you back to the beginning and you have to keep re-entering your passcode. Is this a widespread issue or am I the only one experiencing this?
