How do I burn an iTunes playlist to a CD withou...

I like how my playlist sounds with crossfade from song to song, but when I attempt to burn to disc the crossfade drops out and there are extended gaps between songs despite choosing "none" or "automatic" in the burn disc options prompt for song gap.  Is there a way to preserve the crossfade feature onto the burned disc?
