Apple ID password change rejected due to "Not b...

Hello all,

I'm trying to change my apple id password but the validation is rejecting it due to "Not be used in past year". 

From my testing, the last validator always goes red as soon as all other criteria have been met. I can also guarantee that the passwords I'm using has not been used before as I'm using randomly generated character strings.

Any ideas?

Apple Support: I've logged bug 15409789 but it has yet to be investigated.

Same here... I have tried to email support but I swear these guys just spit out a stock answer on how to change your password and not even read the email that describes this problem!

I, too, have had this same problem for several days now.

I'm now in week 3 of working through Apple support on this one.... and still no fix.

*exactly* same issue here - in the light of heartbleed you would think Apple would be all over this - sadly nothing could be further from the truth :-(

I'm having the same problem.

I went to the Apple Store and used a different computer and had no issue changing password. My feeling is that its a browser issue or maybe antivirus issue...

I can't sign in to a newly made Apple ID because it says "new password has not been used for a year", and hello it is new!!
