I have tried the syntax but there is no process...

I'm trying to create bootable USB drive for Yosemite. I have erased my drive with Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format and GUID Partition Map. After inputing the syntax and password there is no process on terminal, instead my terminal show message "Killed: 9"?

You can make a bootable USB stick to install using this free program which will do all the work for you.

Bootable USB Flash Drive – Diskmaker X

I have tried that program but it didn't work as i expected and I found error. I also want to tell you that I have tried the old version of that program, however the process took a long time and I got no result. Could you please suggest me another possible solution?

Sometimes I don't even get to password.  Enter the same thing 1,000 times (copy and paste, drag to terminal etc) and sometimes I get password but usually don't.  Usually get '...command not found ...'

sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB1  --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app   (is the yosemite.app the same in both instances?)

Diskmaker6 is a total waste of time.  I got it on a usb using diskmaker 5 but it doesn't install (errors out).
