How to view the previously played songs in iOS 10?

Prior to the iOS 10 update not only could you view the tracks coming "up next" but you could also look back in time at tracks played previously to the currently playing track. Has anyone figured out how to do that yet with this new update?

If you go to the 'For You' page, there is a 'Recently Played' section there.

Lets say you're listening to a playlist or radio station and you heard a song you really liked but were too busy to "love" it at the time or even check out who it was by or what it was called. There's now no way to go back and see what songs were played previous to the currently playing one. Like you said if one goes to the "For You" section and look at recently played it only displays recently played albums. Useless if you're listening to a playlist. In the previous version you could swipe one direction to see up next and swipe the opposite direction to see previously played tracks. THIS is the feature I miss!

You are right.  I did not notice it was only showing the album and not the song.  I agree, this is a feature they need to bring back.

Unbelievable how this has been removed. Really about it.

This is just one of many stupid design/functionality changes that have come with the music app in iOS 10

If you go to to text there is a box with an arrow. click the arrow , app store button , swipe to the left and youll see recentl played.

I'm really missing this feature too. I mentioned it on another post and already sent feedback to Apple about it. Hopefully it gets resolved. I also liked it because you could drag a recently played song right back down to the up next queue. There's definitely a lot of room for improvement.

Right, but does not show ALL tracks just played.

He means if you go to the message app, there is the app store icon right next to the field you enter your message in.  Select this and then swipe right until you get to the music 'window'  this will list all the songs you have played recently.

Not a great solution, but it is what is available at this point.

I want the "Up next" feature back..............!!!!  these clowns remove the best features..................
