Safari is not responding
Safari is not responding on my Mac desktop, OS Sierra 10.12.6. I click the icon and nothing happens. I have rebooted. I am up to date on all the updates. It was working yesterday but the Mac did lock up at one point, and I had to press the power button to reboot it. Today Safari will not open. I am on Chrome right now.

Description:
Safari is not responding. I click the icon and nothing happens. I have iMac OS Sierra 10.12.6. It worked yesterday. I am on Chrome so another browser works. Safari works on my iPad. I did have a problem yesterday with the desktop and had to press the power button to reboot it. I’m not sure if I used Safari after that until today, when I realized it would not open.
