Calculator Idea for iPad?

I realize the question has been asked, why isn’t their a calculator app for the iPad. If it is the ugliness of stretching a calculator full screen, that is understandable. I propose adding the calculator to the control center as a button. When needed, press the control center button, you get a calculator overlay on the home screen much like pip video or slide over apps. The calculator can also work like a slide over app within another app to dock it to 1/4 screen only. This way, the calculator can stay just the right size and never stretches full screen. This would work great in the ios 11 update.

I searched the App Store for ”calculator for ipad free” and saw lots of choices.

 

Maybe Apple hasn’t made one because it doesn’t seem worth the effort when one of these is pretty much as good as another.

 

(If you really want an Apple app you could use Numbers.  But the calculator apps are probably better if you want that push-button functionality.)
