Logic X Pro with Yamaha DGX 640

Hi all,

I'm trying to use Logic X Pro as a powerful sequencer for my Yamaha DGX 640.

I want to use DGX 640 sound bank, so I created a project with external-midi tracks only.

The issue is that only GM instruments are available by default to choose for a track.

I read a lot of confusing information all over forums including this one, that I need to add multi-instrument in Environment and copy/paste a patch list there, and this will enable access to all sounds available in DGX 640.

Can someone please point me to some doco/step by step instruction on how to do that?  How come this trivial thing is so difficult???
