blocked from url using Safari

Can you help. I'm having trouble viewing a regular website recently - I've been blocked. I use Safari and a iMac. But going to the same url on my iPad, I have no trouble. I've emptied the Cache, but thats not worked. Also checked Preferences but can't seem to see any issue. I'm not so technically minded. What could be the problem please?
