is it safe to use a 85 watt charger with my Mac...

I have a MacBook Air early 2014 model and I was wondering if it is safe to charge it with an 85 watt charger. the charger it came with broke.

A charger with a higher wattage won't hurt anything.

You can use a compatible higher wattage adapter without issue, but it won't make your computer charge faster or operate differently.
