Apple Pay notifications no longer working

Hi there,

Apple Pay notifications on my iPhone 6 running iOS 11 stopped working, I believe when I purchased and paired an Apple Watch series 3 with LTE (not on a carrier yet).

Since then Apple Pay payments do not appear on the phone (not even in the history of payments) nor do they on the watch.

Any idea what could be the cause and how to fix this?
