macbook air shuts down after closing the lid

my macbook air shuts down after closing the lid. If I close it before going to school and when i arrive at school it wouldn't wake up even i pressed the power button. I shake the laptop for a while and pressing power button works. But I always need to RESET time FROM 2014 Apr1 to my current time otherwise I wouldn't connect to internet. This is annoying!
