I can't log out of the iTunes store

I want to log out of my old Apple ID on the iTunes store in order to put my new Apple ID instead. My Mac won't allow me to log out. I've gone to the top right and clicked on account to see if i can sign out there, I've gone to appleid.apple.com to manage it and try like that, I've checked my settings, and NOTHING! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
