family apple music membership

I recently signed up for Apple music family membership thinking my kids, husband, etc could access unlimited apple music.  However, is it true that any apps, downloads, etc they use will also get billed to my apple account?

Apple Family Sharing is a great way to share Apple Music, iTunes purchases and even payment methods.

Even though Family Sharing allows the sharing of payment methods, there are ways to monitor and block purchases.

One way that you can regulate payment for children, is turning on Ask to Buy which can be turned on for anyone under 18.
