Watch Os 4 screen flash

My Series 2 watch screen flashes 3 - 4 white flashes on the inside of the watch face rose when I press the crown to return from the Apps to the watch face. The watch face disappears for half a second during the 3 - 4 flashes. The complications does not flash. When you press the crown wheel to show the app menu the white clock app icon flashes black / white on entering the app menu.

It started since upgrading to WatchOs 4. I am using the Chronograph face layout with black background, 60 second time scale, complications as follow. top left - weather, middle - date, bottom left - activity, bottom right - world clock UTC.

The above flashing described does not happen when I am on the X-Large digital clock style face.

It does not do the flashing when I enter / exit the favourites menu.

I have rebooted the watch a couple of times, problem still remains.

8 apps installed on the watch. 4.8Gb free space, version 4.0 (15R372), Model A1758, Part Number: MP062X/A.
