How can I add custom ringtones to my device?

I see that iTunes has done away with ringtones, and says you can re-download ringtones without using your Mac once iOS11 hits.

However, I only have maybe 3 or 4 ringtones that were purchased, most of mine are custom tones I created using Audacity and Garage Band. How do I add those to my device now? I have ones already made and added to my phone, but I may create more in the future, not to mention I might be upgrading to a new phone at some point.
