I had to restore on my Ipad 2. Now i get this; ...

I had to do a restore on my Ipad 2, as it suddenly stopped working. I managed to do this but now when going thru the set up again, I get the following message;

Activation Error activation request could not be completed. Please press the home button. If the problem persists, please contact customer care.

Upon starting the device, I can select language (english) and then country (New Zealand) then Wifi (no problems with it) then it think for a momebt then the error comes up.

I have also plugged it into Itunes and get this message;

We're sorry, we are unable to continue with your activation at this time. Please try again later, or contact customer care.

Ideas?? Help!!
