Duplicate Songs

Howdy -

I had to reimport my library due to an (ahem) "user error" after I reinstalled osx on my mac. Now I have something like 15000+ duplicate songs. I know how you can sort with option key to get the "exact duplicates" displayed, but then I still need to delete them one by one. Is there a fancy trick I do do with say a playlist or applescript command or utility so I can do a, dare I say, "mass delete?"

Sort by date added, and them dump the ones you don't need.

Carolyn , did you read the question?  He had that standard help info already  and was some work around to not take time to delete 15,000 songs manually.
