Changing L2TP VPN Port Numbers
I'm running an L2TP VPN on an OS X Server.
It uses ports 500, 1701, and 4500. The server is behind a NAT so I use port forwarding to forward the appropriate ports to the server.
I only connect to the VPN with my Mac OS 10.12 laptop. I want to edit the VPN L2TP ports on my laptop so that I set custom ports for the VPN to use instead of the default ports. The server can still use the default ports since I can map the custom ports to the default ports for the server using the NAT.
The purpose of doing this is I may be on networks that block one or more of the default ports, so I want to be able to use other ports to get out.
How would I do this on my 10.12 VPN client machine?
