iTunes 12.7 creates problems on macOS Mail App

After I installed iTunes 12.7 today, 13.09.2017, around 10:00 on my MacBook Pro 2012, with macOS Sierra 10.12.6, my POP accounts under macOS App Mail and SeaMonkey 2.48 no longer work.

I can receive mail, but not send. iCloud e-mail with IMAP was and is switched off due to mistrust to iCloud long term accessibility in US.

iCloud keychain switched on? Sometimes this confuses because locally stored SMTP passwords are suddenly no longer active. Either disable the iCloud keybund or re-enter the SMTP (mailing) passwords.

PS: Office 2011 14.7.3 is not up to date. Install manual Office 2011 3.0.6 pkg auto update (Google helps), then 14.7.6 comes
