What device can I purchase for my 9 year old so...

What device can I purchase for my 9 year old son to listen to music (downloaded from Itunes) on that is not a phone?  I am not ready for him to have a phone yet just listen to music.

You can get an iPod. The iPod touch works very similar to the iPhone, only does not have phone capability. You can restrict the wi-fi access for internet. Go to iPod touch - Apple for information.
