how do you stop programs from automatically&nbs...

For at least the past week, two things happen when I login: Chrome opens (Safari is my default browser), and the text on any app I open is "huge".  Is this the result of the last system upgrade or what?  Any help would be appreciated.  BJW>

Remove them from login item using the - (minus button)

>system preferences>User and groups>login items

unlock the padlock to make changes
