Night Shift has stopped working completely

Late 2013 27” iMac 14,2 running macOS Sierra 10.12.6. Night Shift has been working as advertised since it first became available. It started a few days ago when I noticed it wasn’t working with the Sunset to Sunrise setting. After fiddling around I set it to a timed setting (7PM to 7AM) and it worked for a day. Now it has stopped working completely. I can’t turn it on under any setting. Night Shift simply no longer works on my supported iMac. Tried all the usual troubleshooting stuff like restarting, restarting in safe mode, trying a different user account, you know the drill.

So, any ideas? Anybody know if there’s .plist file somewhere for Night Shift that I can try deleting? Use Cocktail or Onyx to delete some caches? Has me baffled.
