Apple Watch screen not responding

My Apple Watch screen fails very often. It happens every now and then and it lasts hours or even days. During these periods, the screen won't responde. Buttons work fine, but the screen doesn’t react to my fingers. 3Dtouch doesn’t work either. However, I have noticed that it works fine if the Watch is on the charger, but as soon as I disconnect it from its base the screen will fail again.

I tried hard reset and restore, both as a new device and from a backup.

It's an original Apple Watch, updated to WatchOS 4, but the problem first showed up with the previous WatchOS.

Unfortunately I'm not currently in a country with Apple Store. Any suggestions?

Best regards

Hi

Given the steps that you have already tried, I suggest that you contact Apple Support or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider in your country with a view to arranging for your Apple Watch to be inspected and, if required, serviced:
