Change Hard Drive brand iMac, can I ignore the ...

I'm looking to replace my iMac Hitachi hard drive with a Seagate FireCuda. As far as I can understand the Hitachi temperature sensor will not fit the Seagate drive. What issues will this cause? More than that the iMac cant read the temperature
