Hi,

Does the apple watch series measure VO2max?

Has it got advanced running dynamics like: ground contact time balance, stride length and vertical ratio?

Has it got a recovery advisor or racepredictor?

The built-in apps do not presently offer any of those features.

Apple has also not announced any those as new features under watchOS 3 / Series 2.

Except since I received my Series 3 Apple Watch I’ve had VO2 results in the Health app. So it is either derived from other sources or measured. Very interesting.
