ESC button work only as a Command ESC

Suddenly, ESC doesn't work anymore as a standalone button.
I noticed that Command+ESC work as an ESC button now.

This is a new keyboard, the previous one didn't work properly as well, I couldn't type capital "O" and RIGHT ARROW I was sure that was keyboard fault, but the new one is also failing (no ESC).

Is it possible that this is a software issue?

Weird, any suggestions?

PS: Both are Apple Wireless Keyboards
