12.7 ibooks

I just updated iTunes to 12.7 for windows X... where did my eBooks go?  I have audio books and podcasts but can't seem to find my eBooks.  In fact I only have Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, & Audio books on my menu.. I know I'm blocking music and music posts, but I don't think eBooks comes under those.

Well it looks like I'll be downgrading back to 12.6.  I have to much content from publishers outside iTunes/iBook store.  And even then half the time I have to rename metadata so it searches properly because no one publisher can seem to agree on the same naming conventions.  With over 4,000 books, manuals, and pdf's I need to be able to search for what I read next.  A good chunk of those are from sources like Baen or Tor or one of the other publishing houses.  ePubs galore.

I did find a work around... until they remove that.  If I plug in my device I can access 'Books' under devices and edit directly under that, but with so much content.. each change has to sync before I move on.  So yeah Downgrading it is.  If you want to downgrade as well.. look for the installer that say 'Last update to have appstore'..

Anyone know of an easy to use eReader that accepts non DRM ePubs, PDF, RTF, and TXT?
