mail and attachments on iMac

Hi

Using my iMac to attach low res jpeg images.

Questions:

1. Is there any way, to import the images and display them as Icon's immediately, without the need to right click on them and select 'show as icon'?

2. In the event of replying to a received email, attaching images always places them at row botton of the discussion and not in the area i am responding in.

In Outlook, the attachment bar at the top is great.....any way of replicating this in Mail?

Thank you for any assistance that may be provided, I have looked on the forum and in the preferences of Mail but i am unable to locate anything.

I am running:

iMac OSX El Capitan 10.11.6 using V9.3 Mail
