iMessage goes to wrong addressee

When I sent an iMessage in the Messages desktop app to my kids these messages are sent to my wife's account.

The desktop is a Mac Mini (late 2014). This occurred first time with Mac OS Sierra installed. With High Sierra installed I get the same problem. I also checked the message app on my MB Air (mid 2013): no problem at all.

We all have IOS 11 installed on iPhone SE. We use iCloud, family sharing is on.

So messages on the mac mini seems confused, on the macbook Air all works fine. Log off in the messages app did not help, yet. What to do else?
