¿How to deal with a series 1 IWatch which has popped up the screen because the battery has swollen?

Well Apple will NOT help AT ALL, unless you have kept the apple watch in a glass case or cupboard for the past two years.
In my case, my watch qualified for replacement (as per Apple care and the Apple Authorized Service Center), but because my body generates sweat and the paint letters rubbed off the back, it was denied.
Not sure how a swollen battery replacement has anything to do with the paint rubbing off the back of the watch.
Apparently, Apple believes that human beings who wear the Watch have no business sweating.
So now I need to spend 75% of the original cost of the device simply to replace the battery. NO THANK YOU.
I've learned my lesson: you shouldn't spend your hard earned money to be a guinea pig for Apple R&D.
Did you go into an Apple Store? They replaced both of mine with the problem and one of them did not have apple care.
There is no Apple Store in my country.
However, there is Apple Care, and they denied replacement of the battery simply because of some paint rubbed off the back of the watch.
The Apple Watch ads are misleading: do not exercise with the watch; do not sweat; just use it as a fashion statement or frame it and put in a showcase. Actually using it as a watch may void any support for the watch.
This happens to me yesterday, went into apple and they told me it would be $299 to send it in and repair
Download the Apple Support app, take pictures and video of the detached display and of the battery if visible. Then upload them to the app.
The unhelpful blonde Genius in the Apple Stkre at the Summit in Reno disappeared for ten minutes after not even looking at my watch, came out and said “well, it’s $200 or $300, depending on how you want to have it repaired”.
I spoke to several friends at Apple corporate after returning home with my watch (ordered the day they went on sale and delivered in June 2015), and they were uniformly horrified that I wasn’t told of the bulging battery issue and that I wasn’t offered the free repair. Apparently this is common knowledge; first gen, first-build watches will have this problem.
What’s happening here? Apple is setting themselves up for a serious class action suit over this by refusing repairs on an ongoing repair extension.
I has the same problem, my display came off by itself and the battery was swell, I contacted Apple support by chat and he told me if the battery is swell Apple extended 3 years of warranty in that case and they will repair it if possible and if they can't do that they will send me a new one. I told him if he was sure about that because I didn't want to go to the Apple store and talk with somebody to tell me something different. He told me I won't have any problems. So I went to the Apple store and the guy there told me he can maybe send it to repair but it would cost me $248. I told him that was an issue that Apple was aware of it and they supposed to give me a new one in that specific case. He told me well I can repair it and charge you $75. I told him hey I am not telling you this to see if you can give me a better price, I am telling you this because I talked with a representative and he told me in this case Apple extended the warranty for 3 years and they suppose to give me a new one, hopefully I saved my chat with the representative online and I showed it to him, then he said he can honor that. If you have the same problem I suggest you to do the same, contact Apple support online through chat and save your chat conversation just in case and show them what this is about. Apparently some employees at the Apple store are not aware or don't know what to do in this case. So they sent it to repair and in two days I received a new replacement honoring the 3 years. When I was about to leave the store, the Apple "Genius" told me "Thanks for save that chat information"
