Does Macbook Pro 13

I have a MacBook Pro Laptop that I just got last year, and I am curious if there is a USB 3.0 on my computer or not....

I only ask because I am shopping for external hard drives, and I am only able to find ones that are USB 3.0, but I have always used USB 2.0 for everything. Can someone suggest a USB 2.0 external drive to me, ro explain whether I have a USB 3.0 port available??

According to About This Mac, my computer has the following:

Connections and Expansion

    •    MagSafe power port

    •    Gigabit Ethernet port

    •    FireWire 800 port (up to 800 Mbps)

    •    Two USB 3 ports (up to 5 Gbps)

    •    Thunderbolt port (up to 10 Gbps)

    •    Headphone port

    •    SDXC card slot

    •    Kensington lock slot

    •    8x SuperDrive

This seems to look like I have USB 3.0 ports, but System Report says the following:

USB 2.0 Bus:

  Host Controller Driver:    AppleUSBEHCIPCI

  PCI Device ID:    0x1e2d

  PCI Revision ID:    0x0004

  PCI Vendor ID:    0x8086

Hub:

  Product ID:    0x0024

  Vendor ID:    0x8087  (Intel Corporation)

  Version:    0.00

  Speed:    Up to 480 Mb/sec

  Location ID:    0x1a100000 / 1

  Current Available (mA):    500

  Current Required (mA):    0

  Extra Operating Current (mA):    0

  Built-In:    Yes

USB 2.0 Hub:

  Product ID:    0x0101

Vendor ID:    0x1a40  (TERMINUS TECHNOLOGY INC.)

  Version:    1.11

  Speed:    Up to 480 Mb/sec

  Location ID:    0x1a120000 / 8

  Current Available (mA):    500

  Current Required (mA):    100

  Extra Operating Current (mA):    0

This seems to imply that I have only USB 2.0 ports.

So, which is it please??

Thanks in advance!!

Yes, you have USB3.

But when you use USB2 devices, they will naturally showup as USB2.
