Why take the apps out of iTunes

It toke me 6 hours to setup (restore) a new iPhone 8 Plus just because someone at apple chose to takeout the apps from iTunes!

They made our lives so difficult for no practical reason at all!

Have they thought about people who have 800+ apps on their iPhones & slow internet connection when they decided to pull the apps out?

I just can't go through this every time I get a new upgrade!

I'm really thinking seriously of switching to Android.
