Touch bar Macbook Pro apps crash while at sleep

There are other threads relating to crashes while running. All is fine for me.

However apps are often crashed when I resume from sleep.

This has been all apps I often leave open - Firefox, Vmare Fusion, Iterm and now Thunderbird.

I suspect these are crashing during sleep as I have noticed my Macbook waking up during my sleep - my two external monitors illuminate my bedroom! This seems very relevant: https://tinyurl.com/jswbwve

Thank you for posting this! I have wondered why ClipMenu, Sublime Text, Firefox, and several others always crash when the macbook is sleeping.

I now leave the Macbook on all the time with a short screen timout. Lets hope the new release of Sierra comes soon.

Another postscript.  When I turn the display back on, the external monitor content of the second of my two external monitors shifts to the main LCD. Of course displays should remain unchanged, and did with the previous generation.  After 'upgrading' at vast expense to the touchbar mac, my life is so much harder I am tempted to return it and wait for the dust to settle.

Same here. My MacBook late 2009 did not crash in 8 years so much compared to the 2017 touch bar in 2 months...
