unabe to link imessage from imac and iphone

i can't receive messages in imac but can receive i iphone. it started when i updated to ios 11

I understand your can receive iMessages on your iPhone, but they are not showing on your Mac as they used to.  Have you restarted your iPhone, Mac and Modem/Router since you did the updates?  This will reinitialize everything as a fresh Wi-Fi connection will be generated.
