Apple Watch Series 3 cellular activation proble...

Purchased Apple Watch Series 3 Cellular directly from Apple.  Have been working with T-Mobile personnel in an attempt to activate cellular connection.  I've read that the problem extends to other carriers as well and that Apple may have omitted critical data for cellular activation for those watches purchased directly from Apple.

 

I would like to know if Apple is addressing this and if/when it will be resolved. Any feedback is welcome!  Thanks!

I'm afraid that no-one here can tell you anything about Apple's unannounced plans. You are not talking to Apple here - this is a user-based technical support community.

 

I suggest that you contact Apple Support for assistance:

 



I know that many will respond with "you are not talking directly to Apple...." and will say to contact Apple directly. On September the 26th I did just that and here was the essence of their reply. "Apple has the top developers and staff working on this as we speak, to resolve this issue."

On Oct the 1st I contacted them again referencing my earlier question chat and in essence got the same response with the word 'engineers' substituted for the word 'developers'.

 

So, we are SOL at this moment.
