MacBook Pro Battery Issue

I have a MacBook Pro which I replaced the battery but notice that the WH is 60wh which the one i took out is a 73wh and have noticed my fan running which I have not had this problem before. Should I take the battery back for the mismatch of the battery. Wanted to know if this can damage my MacBook Pro

Not sure what model of MacBook Pro are you using and the battery you got, though you should get battery which suits with your MacBook Pro model.
