New recording output

I was recording great!  Today I tried and when I opened a new project, I got the page to select Midi; Microphone or Drummer. This page has changed. It will not allow me to select one of these three (I want microphon). On the right, In the Output box it lists my interface device (Steinberg UR22mkII).  Before the Steinberg interface wasn't shown, instead there were two selections, one was to hear at the time of recording. I hope this is clear, I'm a newbie. So, I have no options other than my interface 1,2,3,4,5,etc or no out 1,2,3,4,5, etc.   The program is not receiving signals from the microphones and in the track ID box it shows Steinberg. The place where I would replace type in guitar, piano, vocals, etc.
