Samsung Note 8 not recognized

I tried everything.

Ok, I got Developer Options to work and clicked on 'debugging mode launches when usb is connected' and still my Note 8 won't connect: 'Could not connect to device, Try reconnecting or restarting your device', I've tried restarting, everything....

I have an iMac 2015 with Mac OS Sierra, can some one help?? And I've tried Android File Transfer to no avail...

My Note 5 worked fine with the Airmore app, but not with Note 8.
