Syncing Apps in new iTunes 12.7

Why on earth would Apple end the practice of syncing iOS apps in iTunes? Is this the same silliness we saw years ago when Apple decided we could not sync Contacts and Calendar unless we used iCloud? Yet another display of arrogance by Apple developers if this does not get fixed ASAP and yet another reason I may move to Android (which, btw, has the same practice but phones are much less expensive and easier to use).

At least I caught this before downloading!
