What about tracks that were previously purchase...

My husband has a library, I have a library, on different computers/iphones.

He has a new phone, and would like ALL of our music loaded onto it. Will "family purchases" work? Many of these tracks were purchased several years ago.

Family Sharing should work for that yes. The age of the purchases is not relevant as long as the tracks continue to exist
