Keyboard or not keyboard?

Work in the field of computing and at times, especially outside the office, I use IPAD Pro to respond to mails and skype to make video / audio conferencing. I'm undecided about buying a physical keyboard. In the office I have the laptop and at home I also have the mac possibly, but when I'm around I sometimes feel the need for a keyboard. Can you give me some advice on purchasing a iPad-compatible keyboard?
