Poor output quality airpods on Mac

Good day everyone.

I am not the first to report this (and perhaps not the last either)

My Airpods have been amazing on my iPhone 6S. Yet on my iMac the output is terrible according to my teleconference team.

It's been close to a year since this issue was first reported. Is there anyone able to provide me with either an ETA of the solution and/or a work around other than selecting a different output device?

We are all end users just like you are so we have no idea, only Apple knows if they are even working on a solution.  I would recommend that you post your comments on www.Apple.com/feedback. You will not receive a reply however your feedback will be read.
