transfer contacts from Mac Book Air to iPhone 7

Hello

 

I am having trouble with the contacts in my  new iPhone 7 :

 

I need to transfer all of my contacts from MacBook Air 10.12.6

and have not been able to do this for some reason.

Please give me the steps to follow it correctly.

Keep your contacts up to date on all of your devices with iCloud - Apple Support

The easiest way is to use iCloud. 

  1. Set up and iCloud account on your phone and enable contacts syncing.
  2. Then sync your Mac with your iCloud account as shown here: https://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/mac.html
  3. Enable contact syncing.

 

 

If you don't want to use iCloud then you can sync your contacts using iTunes.  If this is your first sync, be sure there is at least one contact in Address Book/Contacts on your Mac. 

  1. Select to sync your contacts on the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and sync.
  2. When you sync you should get a merge or replace prompt for contacts.
  3. If you want to merge the contacts on your phone with those on your Mac, choose Merge.
  4. If you want to replace the contacts on your phone with those on your Mac, choose Replace.

 

If you have already been syncing with iTunes, first reset the SyncServices folder as explained here: https://support.apple.com/kb/TS1627.  Then follow the process described above.
